My son has been attending weekly yoga classes with pam since he was 4 years old. He is now 15 and still enjoys his yoga. I have great admiration for Pam’s calm and gently way with my son and other children. Pam has a wonderful capacity to engage children of all ages and support their journey through life with moments of stillness, calm and peace, as well as nurturing their growing bodies. I wish to acknowledge and thank Pam for all she has given to my son and I know wherever he goes in his life, he will carry beauty, peace and gentleness from his time spent with Pam.

Welcome to LittleLotus

Children's Yoga and Creative Dance

The Lotus Flower grows from the bottom of muddy ponds, it takes the nutrients from the gloomy bottom of the pond and uses this to rise above to the top and form its beautiful flower. I utilise this idea in my classes. I try to teach my children to take their bad experiences and through yoga and dance help them to grow into beautiful Little Lotus’. I have also found during my time teaching that when a child begins yoga they could be shy or hyperactive, fidgety or inactive; but as they continue with their practice they slowly learn to harness those qualities and show beauty and strength in their poses.

I have always delighted in witnessing Pam’s incredible passion, energy and joy when working with children. The effort she puts into planning classes, selecting music and incorporating appropriate props is simply wondrous and I am often amazed as to how Pam continues to develop beautifully inspiring class themes, weekly.
Pam has a natural warm affinity with children, young and old. She is incredibly patient, yet firm when needed, and she has had experience working with a range of presenting issues, including kids with Autism, Asperger’s, Anxiety, and severe Scoliosis (in which the child was only permitted to remove a full body brace for one hour – during her yoga class with Pam).

Williamstown Yoga and Meditation

Pam’s Creative Dance in Williamstown with my 2.5 year old is one of my most favourite times of the week! Each session explores a different theme and encourages the little ones to experiment with using their bodies in various ways while responding to a range of stimuli. The atmosphere is delightful as mums and their children frolic around together – highly recommended.

Thanks for another year of yoga. Sam is very committed to yoga and often practices at home and shares what he has learnt with others. I love that he is familiar with meditation and stillness and all the happiness and calm that it brings. Thank you!

When I came in to pick up Freya last week and saw what was happening, I nearly cried. It was beautiful. Freya and all those children are so lucky to be involved with your class. And I am so appreciative of what you’re doing. Thank you for enriching my daughter’s life!
